Position Summary

The Child Maltreatment Section within GPAM seeks an open rank, fixed-term 0.5 to 1.0 FTE faculty member to serve as Medical Director for the inpatient and outpatient child maltreatment consultation service. Responsibilities include leading service growth, supervising the medical team, and directing the education curriculum for residents and medical students. Candidates should be board-certified/board-eligible in Child Abuse Pediatrics with fellowship or equivalent post-residency training. The team includes board-certified child abuse pediatricians, nurse practitioners, and social workers, with involvement in a state-funded educational program ensuring quality evaluations.
