Job Title: Database Administrator (DBA) Location: 780 3rd Ave, New York, NY Job Type: Full-Time Department: IT / Database Administration Responsibilities
Administer, maintain, and optimize on-premises SQL Server databases in production and development environments Design, implement, and maintain data push/pull workflows across systems and environments Ensure database security, backups, recovery, and disaster recovery readiness Monitor performance and tune databases for efficiency and stability Develop and maintain scripts, stored procedures, and automation for recurring database tasks Work closely with developers, data analysts, and business teams to support data integration needs Troubleshoot and resolve complex database-related issues promptly Document database configurations, processes, and procedures Qualifications
6+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA Strong proficiency in T-SQL, stored procedures, and database triggers Experience with data push/pull operations (ETL processes, linked servers, replication, or SSIS) Solid understanding of database architecture, indexing, and query optimization Experience with database backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Preferred
Experience with cloud databases (Azure SQL, AWS RDS, etc.) Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Data Lakes, or Synapse Analytics Knowledge of NoSQL databases and hybrid data environments Experience with automation tools (PowerShell, Python, etc.) Pay
