Shipping Coordinator
Our client, a manufacturing organization specializing in logistics and supply chain management, is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to join their team. As a Shipping Coordinator, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the supply chain and logistics teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong negotiation abilities, and effective communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Shipping Coordinator Location: Pasadena, TX Pay Range: $20-$22 per hour Shift: M-F 8am-5pm What's the Job? Monitor work progress and ensure shipments leave on schedule Work with the supply chain team to negotiate Incoterms with customers and vendors Prepare international paperwork in compliance with Customs and U.S. Law Maintain accounts with Freight Forwarders and arrange for imports and returns Respond to customer requests for documentation and shipping information What's Needed? High School Diploma required; business coursework or degree preferred At least five years of progressive shipping experience, preferably in manufacturing Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems Excellent organizational, math, and reading skills Strong communication and negotiation skills What's in it for me?
