Develop and implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals and drive operational efficiency across senior living communities. Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team, providing guidance on HR-related matters and workforce planning. Monitor industry trends and implement best practices to enhance HR effectiveness and employee satisfaction. Oversee the implementation, management, and optimization of HR technologies, including HRIS, payroll systems, and applicant tracking systems. Ensure data integrity and leverage analytics to drive decision-making. Manage payroll processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely execution. Oversee benefits programs, including health, retirement, and voluntary benefits, ensuring they meet the needs of employees while remaining cost-effective. Direct workers' compensation programs, ensuring timely reporting, claim management, and return-to-work strategies. Oversee leave of absence processes, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA). Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent across all senior living communities. Develop and implement retention strategies to reduce turnover and enhance employee satisfaction. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Conduct regular audits of HR practices and records to mitigate risk and ensure readiness for regulatory inspections. Foster a culture of employee engagement by developing initiatives that promote inclusivity, recognition, and professional growth. Oversee the performance review process, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and employee development goals. Manage and mentor HR staff, providing guidance and development opportunities. Promote a collaborative and high-performing HR team culture.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. SPHR, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent certification highly desirable. 5+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in the senior living, healthcare, or multi-site environment. Strong knowledge of HR technologies, payroll systems, and benefits administration. In-depth understanding of employment laws, compliance, and best practices. Proven track record of driving employee engagement and culture initiatives. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to travel as needed to support communities across multiple locations.
