Windows Administrator

Role: Windows Administrator Duration: Long Term Location: Redmond, WA Summary: We are seeking a Windows Administrator to maintain and optimize our Windows‑based infrastructure. You will work with engineering, ops, and security teams to ensure system reliability, performance, and security. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server 2016/2019/2022. Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and clustering. Automate tasks with PowerShell. Monitor, patch, and secure systems to ensure compliance. Troubleshoot server, network, and app issues. Implement backups, recovery, and disaster recovery plans. Support Windows workloads in AWS (EC2, RDS, FSx) and integrate with IAM. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in CS / IT or equivalent experience. 4+ years of Windows Server administration in large environments. Strong skills in AD, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, WSUS. PowerShell scripting experience. Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms. Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs).
