Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support by facilitating scheduling, managing inter-office and Archdiocesan correspondence, and assisting the Rector’s Priest Assistant.
  • Event Planning: Coordinate event logistics by managing RSVPs, liaising with the kitchen and Archbishop’s office, and organizing seminarians for service assignments.
  • Calendar Management: Manage seminary calendars by maintaining current schedules and preparing the upcoming year’s calendar.
  • House Van Coordination: Oversee house van operations by tracking usage, coordinating maintenance, and liaising with seminarian van prefects.
  • Monthly Newsletter: Produce the monthly newsletter by compiling content with staff and faculty and distributing it to followers and dioceses.
  • Additional Duties: Support evolving seminary needs as they arise during the liturgical and academic year
Requirements:

  • Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the church and eager to carry out the mission of the Saint John Vianney Theological Seminary.
  • Align with the values and mission of the Catholic Church in an Apostolic Age.
  • Demonstrated background in administrative support
  • Proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Forms)
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on interpersonal engagement
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
