We are seeking a seasoned Software Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team. As a manager, you will lead a team of talented engineers, drive technical excellence, foster a culture of ownership, and ensure successful delivery of high-impact, complex projects. You will guide technical decisions, manage team performance, and align engineering efforts with business goals. About the Role

Technical Leadership Be hands-on with code, maintain high technical standards, participate in design and architecture decisions, code reviews, and help engineers optimize their code. Leverage deep experience in the data domain to design and build scalable data pipelines and lead business intelligence initiatives, supporting the growth and optimization of the modern data platform. Provide technical leadership and direction for major projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices. Ensure high standards of performance, scalability, and reliability when architecting, designing, and developing complex software systems. Enforce engineering best practices (documentation, automation, code management, security principles, leverage Copilot) and accountability for the teams technical decisions. Maintain health and quality of services and incidents, proactively identifying and addressing issues. Use service health indicators and telemetry for action; implement best practices for operational excellence. Play a pivotal role in the R.I.D.E. (Review, Inspect, Decide, Execute) framework. Understand CI/CD pipelines from build, test, to deploy phases. Team Management Lead and manage a team of software engineers, fostering collaboration and high performance. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and support professional development. Foster a culture of service ownership and enhance team engagement. Drive succession planning and engineering efficiency, focusing on quality and developer experience through data-driven approaches. Promote a growth mindset and drive organizational change. Actively seek opportunities for team growth and cross-functional collaboration. Lead the team in operating within a DevOps model, taking ownership from working with product management on requirements to design, development, testing, deployment, and production maintenance. Coaching and Development Grow and develop the team technically with a quality mindset; provide strong, actionable feedback. Provide technical mentorship and guidance to engineers at all levels, fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement, encouraging experimentation and iteration. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, advocating adoption where appropriate to drive innovation and productivity. Execution Excellence Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of high-impact software projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Manage workload, priorities, risks, and tradeoffs. Align team efforts with the companys strategic direction and business needs. Demonstrate engineering excellence and service ownership, including cost and quality management of services and production management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, operations) to ensure alignment and successful project delivery. Communicate with stakeholders at all levels. Make deployment decisions with appropriate risk mitigation. About You

Basic Qualifications 8+ years of software development experience, with 3+ years in a technical leadership role and 2+ years in people management. Experience in data and analytics with hands-on experience using tools like Looker, Cognos, Power BI, or Tableau. Proven track record of leading and delivering large-scale, complex software projects. Deep expertise in one or more programming languages (e.g., C, C++, C#, .NET, Python, Java, JavaScript). Extensive experience with software architecture and design patterns. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Strong understanding of cloud technologies and DevOps principles. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change. Preferred Qualifications Masters degree or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools. Knowledge of agile development methodologies. Where were going

The pay range for this position is $126,300 to $181,550. Base pay may vary by skills, experience, and location. This position is eligible for short-term and long-term incentives as part of total compensation.
