The Family Medicine Physician at Jefferson Community Health & Life (JCH&L) is a vital member of our healthcare team, delivering high-quality, patient-centered primary care to individuals and families across the lifespan. This role includes providing care in both outpatient and inpatient settings, performing minor procedures, offering preventive and acute care, and serving as an emergency backup. The physician works collaboratively with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and multidisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care and optimal health outcomes.
Compensation
$260,000 base salary (combined $215k base + $45k ER call)
Collections based production bonus
52.5% of net collections over $35k per month
55% of net collections over $52k per month
Top providers average $10k/month in production
$50k annual bonus equates to $515k/year in collections
$100k annual bonus equates to $610k/year in collections
Optional primary ER coverage paid at $110/hour
$10k annual mid-level supervision bonus
Quality bonus of up to 5% of annual salary (up to $11k)
Sign-on bonus of $50k & relocation stipend of up to $10k

New clinic
Attached to hospital opened in 2022 with 23 exam rooms, lab, xray, dexa, 2 consultation rooms, injection room and 2 minor procedure rooms.
The clinic has a negative pressure area that has a separate entrance with two exam rooms.
Computer in each exam room.
Each doc has a private office, 2-3 exam rooms, and a specific LPN that works with that physician.
Cerner electronic health records.
The clinic has a separate nurse teaming area and a separate patient services department who answer phone calls and assist with medication refills to allow the provider and nurse more time to work with the patient.
Hospital
Critical access 17-bed facility.
Hospital features 2 OR s, 2 ER bays, onsite fitness center, PT/OT, imaging services, home health, 40-bed LTC, and a 50-bed Assisted Living (Jointly owned by larger system).
2-3 daily rounds inpatient hospital followed by 15-25 patients/day in clinic office
Each physician rounds on their own patients Mon-Thurs.
Approximately 4 patients to round on each weekend day (On call doc rounds on the weekend)
