As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting students development of functional, sensory, and motor skills necessary for success in the school environment. This position offers flexible full-time or part-time opportunities to fit your schedule while making a meaningful impact on students' lives. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct occupational therapy services to students from Pre-K through Grade 8, addressing a range of developmental, physical, sensory, and cognitive needs
Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify student strengths, needs, and goals in accordance with California state guidelines
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals tailored to each students unique needs
Collaborate closely with teachers, families, school staff, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated support and effective integration of therapy goals in the classroom setting
Maintain accurate and timely documentation, progress notes, and reports to comply with district policies and state regulations
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations to support student success
Stay current with best practices and professional development in pediatric occupational therapy and educational strategies
Qualifications: Valid California Occupational Therapist licensure required
Experience working in school settings, particularly with Pre-K to Grade 8 students, strongly preferred
Knowledge of Californias educational and special education regulations and guidelines
Strong clinical skills in pediatric occupational therapy, including sensory integration, fine motor development, and assistive technology
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and manage a flexible caseload
Commitment to supporting diverse learners and fostering inclusive school environments
