Job Description:
A school district in
Carlsbad, CA
is seeking a
full-time, onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
for the upcoming school year. The current SLP (contracted through Soliant) will not be renewing, and the district is now hiring for a direct or contracted replacement. This role serves a
mixed caseload of elementary and middle school students , with needs ranging from
mild/moderate to moderate/severe disabilities . The district does
not utilize SLPAs , so the SLP must be prepared to manage the caseload independently. Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy to students with varying needs
Conduct assessments and write evaluation reports
Develop and implement IEP goals and provide progress updates
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and school staff
Maintain all required documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
Requirements:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
California SLP License (current and valid)
ASHA CCCs required
Experience with a range of disabilities and grade levels preferred
Must be available for onsite services in Carlsbad, CA
