A full-time Contract Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position is available for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year, serving students from Kindergarten through 12th grade in a K-12 educational setting located in Richmond, CA. This role focuses on supporting students developmental and therapeutic needs within the school environment, enhancing their ability to participate fully in academic and social activities.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 students under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and regulatory standards. Adapt therapy activities to meet the diverse needs of students with various physical, sensory, or cognitive challenges. Participate in team meetings and contribute professional insights to support student success. Qualifications and Experience: Current and valid credential/licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. Experience or training in providing occupational therapy services within school settings (K-12 preferred). Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams. Ability to engage and motivate students with diverse needs. Knowledge of educational and therapeutic best practices for children and adolescents.
