A full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year within a K-12 educational setting. This contract role is based in San Mateo, CA, serving students across kindergarten through 12th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs within a K-12 school environment.
Collaborate with educators, therapists, and other professionals to support student development.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with educational goals.
Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and healthcare standards.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to intervention strategies to promote student success.
Qualifications:
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential.
Experience providing occupational therapy in both healthcare and school settings preferred.
Ability to assess and address the functional needs of school-aged children.
Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with school staff and families.
Commitment to supporting the holistic development of students within an educational context.
