Key Accounts Director – North America Vitrolife Group is seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to lead strategic growth initiatives across Fertility Network Accounts and Strategic Accounts in North America. This role focuses on accelerating adoption of our full product portfolio, strengthening executive-level relationships, and delivering sustained commercial impact. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, expert communicator, and individual contributor with deep experience in complex account management and solution-based selling.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and market penetration across IVF networks and fertility chains
Analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and solution alignment
Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Managers, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Product Development, and Customer Support to ensure seamless execution
Build and maintain strong relationships with executive stakeholders, administrators, embryologists, and lab directors
Serve as a subject matter expert on Vitrolife Group solutions throughout the sales cycle and beyond
Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory shifts to proactively meet customer needs
Identify key decision-makers and cultivate Key Opinion Leaders within assigned networks
Meet or exceed annual growth targets and operating plan objectives
Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform senior leadership and guide strategic direction
Lead contract negotiations and develop profitable agreements aligned with business goals
Drive category growth through gap analysis, win/loss reviews, and product launch insights
Partner with marketing to develop targeted campaigns including dossiers, testimonials, webinars, and case studies
Collaborate with Medical Affairs on product roadmap and innovation opportunities
Translate network needs into actionable implementation plans across internal teams
Maintain strong communication routines with logistics, labs, scientific support, customer care, and corporate functions
Support product trials and in-service activities to capture network trends and feedback
Contribute to quarterly forecasting and territory-level planning based on market intelligence
Evaluate organizational capabilities and develop strategic actions to position current and future portfolio offerings
Build and nurture long-term client relationships through consultative engagement and solution delivery
Manage pipeline, reporting systems, and follow-up processes to ensure target achievement
Deliver high-quality training to end users, ensuring accurate and balanced product knowledge
Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization with professionalism and tact
Prioritize workload and adapt to changing demands as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field
5+ years of experience in strategic account management, sales, or business development
Proven success managing complex accounts in healthcare, fertility, or life sciences
Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to travel extensively and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Deep understanding of the fertility market and IVF network dynamics is a plus
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Deep understanding of the fertility industry, IVF networks, and clinical workflows
Expertise in strategic account management, contract negotiation, and solution-based selling
Strong analytical skills for data interpretation, market analysis, and business planning
Advanced communication and presentation abilities across executive, clinical, and operational levels
Proven relationship-building skills with key stakeholders including executive leadership, lab directors, and clinicians
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, medical affairs, product development, and customer support
Proficiency in CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and pipeline management
Capacity to identify and cultivate Key Opinion Leaders within strategic accounts
Skilled in translating customer needs into actionable strategies and internal alignment
Comfortable navigating complex negotiations and delivering profitable growth outcomes
Adaptable to a fast-paced, travel-intensive role with autonomy and accountability
Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple high-impact initiatives
