A contracted Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, supporting two schools serving students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. This role involves providing specialized occupational therapy services to elementary and middle school students, focusing on enhancing their developmental and educational progress.

Location: Foresthill, California Serving one elementary school and one middle school Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy interventions to students with identified needs across K-8 classrooms Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Attend and participate in IEP meetings, typically scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions Adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse learner needs within the school environment Schedule: Part-time, 3 days per week with some flexibility in selecting workdays Commitment aligned with the school calendar year (CSY) Qualifications: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential is required Experience working with school-age children, preferably in educational settings Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and educational teams Ability to manage a caseload across multiple school sites and grade levels Familiarity with IEP processes and compliance standards This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students educational outcomes while working within a supportive and collaborative school setting.
