Seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support students in both an elementary and middle school setting, serving grades K-8. This contract position spans the 2025-2026 school year and offers a flexible schedule with three days per week on-site. The caseload includes a range of students requiring occupational therapy services across early childhood and adolescent populations.

Key Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy interventions to students K-8 in elementary and middle school environments. Collaborate with educators and school staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Participate in IEP meetings, typically scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school. Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and state guidelines. Adapt therapeutic techniques to meet the diverse needs of students across two school sites. Qualifications: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required. Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred. Strong knowledge of developmental milestones and occupational therapy techniques for children. Ability to manage a diverse caseload and multitask effectively. Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teachers, parents, and school personnel. Location: Shingle Springs, CA Schedule: Three days per week, flexible on specific days. Availability for after-school IEP meetings on Tuesdays and Thursdays is required.
