Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
serving students from Pre-K through 12th grade. This is an
onsite position
requiring hands-on therapy services, with no virtual work available. You will play a vital role in helping students develop the skills they need to succeed academically, socially, and personally. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct occupational therapy services to a caseload of approximately 50 students across multiple grade levels (Pre-K12)
Assist in conducting evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
Implement therapy interventions that address students fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and functional skills needs
Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, therapists, and other school staff to support student goals and IEP development
Document therapy sessions, student progress, and maintain compliance with district and state regulations
Participate in team meetings, IEP meetings, and professional development opportunities
Qualifications: Current and valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license or certification in the state of Washington
Experience working with school-aged children preferred but not required
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work full-time onsite during regular school hours
