We are currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic
Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
to join our team for the
20252026 school year
in
Spokane, Washington . This is a
part-time position (2 days per week)
supporting approximately
22 students
with varying speech and language needs. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in school-based settings and demonstrate strong collaboration and communication skills. While
on-site candidates are preferred , we may consider
virtual candidates
based on experience and fit. Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language support services under the direction and supervision of a licensed SLP.
Implement therapy goals and treatment plans outlined in students' IEPs.
Support student communication goals across various educational settings.
Collect data and maintain documentation of student progress.
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families.
Requirements:
Associates or Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences.
Washington State SLPA license (or ability to obtain prior to start).
Previous school-based experience strongly preferred.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Tech skills sufficient for virtual service delivery (if remote).
