Support an elementary classroom as a Paraprofessional in Melrose, MA, on a contract basis for the current school year. This role provides valuable assistance to teachers by supporting instructional activities and helping students achieve their learning goals in a dynamic and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities: Assist the lead teacher with daily classroom activities and instructional support Support students with diverse learning needs to foster academic and social growth Help prepare instructional materials and maintain a positive classroom atmosphere Monitor student behavior and provide supervision during classroom and non-classroom activities Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) as needed Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all students Qualifications: Previous experience working with elementary-aged children preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team Patience, flexibility, and a genuine interest in supporting student success Relevant paraprofessional or educational assistant certification or training is a plus Location: Position is based at an elementary school in Melrose, Massachusetts This is a contracted position for the current school year, offering the opportunity to develop meaningful educational support experience within a collaborative school setting.
