Elementary School District (K8) Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative
Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
to join a small, supportive elementary school district in the scenic Mill Valley area for the 20252026 school year. This is a full-time, school-based opportunity with no high school students on the caseload. Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language services to K8 students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
Implement documented treatment plans or protocols
Assist with screenings and assessments as directed
Maintain accurate records and progress notes
Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support student communication goals
Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed
Qualifications:
Current California SLPA license required
Prior experience in a school setting preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
