Operations: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Job Overview: We are seeking a qualified Inpatient Travel Pharmacist to support day-shift operations in a hospital setting. This role includes rotating between sterile compounding in the IV room and general pharmacy operations. Responsibilities: Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding, including hazardous drugs and parenteral nutrition
Verify and dispense medication orders
Support inpatient operations: dispensing, cart fill, Omnicell stocking, and controlled substances
Supervise 25 pharmacy technicians and collaborate with other pharmacists on duty
Ensure compliance with medication compatibility standards and safety regulations
Communicate effectively with staff and providers via phone and EMR system (Epic)
Requirements: Active and unrestricted
West Virginia Pharmacist License
(required)
BLS Certification
(required)
Inpatient hospital pharmacy experience (3 years preferred)
Strong knowledge of IV room operations, sterile compounding, and pediatric dosing workflows
Familiarity with Epic EMR and Omnicell (preferred)
