Put your inpatient expertise to work in a respected childrens hospital on a travel or local contract in West Virginia. Join a collaborative pharmacy team where your skills in sterile compounding and inpatient operations will directly support high-quality pediatric care.
Position Details:
Start : ASAP
Schedule : MondayFriday IV Room: 6:30 AM 3:00 PM
Operations: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Duration : 13 weeks (with potential extension or perm hire) Responsibilities Oversee 25 technicians alongside 12 pharmacists.
Verify medication orders, manage controlled substances, and stock automated dispensing machines.
Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding, including hazardous drugs and parenteral nutrition.
Handle vaccines, cart fills, and medication compatibility checks.
Maintain professional phone etiquette and accurate computer documentation.
Requirements West Virginia Pharmacist license Active BLS Certification
~3 years of recent, inpatient experience
Strong knowledge of sterile compounding standards and pharmacy operations.
Familiarity with Epic EMR and Omnicell is a plus.
