We're seeking a Retail Pharmacy Manager to lead a community-based pharmacy team in New Mexico.
This role is perfect for a pharmacist with leadership experience who is ready to take on operational responsibility, mentor staff, and ensure top-quality patient care in a respected retail setting.
Hours of Operation:
Monday Friday, 8:30 AM 6:00 PM
Closed weekends
Key Responsibilities: Supervise, train, and mentor pharmacy staff; oversee scheduling and performance management
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA and controlled substance protocols
Counsel patients on medications, dosage, side effects, and storage
Oversee inventory, budget, and expense management
Lead staff education and professional growth opportunities
Conduct medication therapy management (MTM) and patient-centered services, including immunizations
Maintain accurate records, patient profiles, and ensure safe medication distribution
Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD required
Active New Mexico pharmacist license (or willingness to obtain)
13 years of pharmacist experience
12 years of management or leadership experience
Immunization certification (APhA Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery) required
Retail 340B experience preferred
