Typical shifts are 4x10 or 4x12 (for example, 8 AM 8 PM) Key Responsibilities
Register as the supervising pharmacist or pharmacist-in-charge with the state board of pharmacy.
Maintain full compliance with federal, state, and board of pharmacy regulations, as well as company policies.
Manage all aspects of the pharmacy department, including budgeting, payroll, scheduling, inventory management, and third-party administration.
Participate in community and in-store business development activities.
Oversee and guide pharmacy support staff, conducting performance reviews and ensuring training compliance.
Provide patient-centered services, including immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs.
Counsel patients and healthcare providers on drug use, dosage, interactions, and side effects while monitoring patient health for optimal outcomes.
Support continuous quality improvement programs to maintain patient safety.
Keep the pharmacy area organized and maintain department facilities to meet legal and company standards.
Complete continuing education programs required by state law.
Qualifications
Active & clear New York Pharmacist license.
Immunization certification + comfort administering all vaccines.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
