Special Education Paraprofessional in Granite Falls, WA

A school district in Granite Falls, WA is seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional to support K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting. This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute directly to student learning and classroom success throughout the current school year (CSY). Responsibilities: Assist classroom teachers with instructional support tailored to individual student needs Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to support academic and behavioral goals Help implement lesson plans and classroom activities in accordance with school guidelines Support students with special needs to ensure an inclusive learning environment Monitor and document student progress, communicating effectively with teachers and staff Maintain a positive and safe atmosphere conducive to student learning and development Qualifications: Prior experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with students, teachers, and staff Ability to work patiently and effectively with students of varying ages and abilities, particularly within a K-12 setting Familiarity with classroom procedures and patience in managing diverse learning styles Reliable and punctual with a commitment to professional conduct and confidentiality Location: Granite Falls, Washington
