Automation Personnel Services is hiring: Warehouse Associate in Huntsville

Automation Personnel Services is looking for Warehouse Associates for LG Electronics in Huntsville, AL. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the packing / picking of orders and unloading / loading trucks in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Pay rate:

$16.50 per hour

Schedule and Hours:

1st Shift- times may vary by department.

Warehouse AssociateDuties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Pack, weigh and label completed items for shipment or storage.
• Picking orders in full and accurately.
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Follow all company guidelines regarding packaging to ensure items arrive at their destination.
• Identify defective items before they are shipped to customers.
• Properly use packaging materials, including hand tools, glues, nails, padding, etc.
• Keep complete records of all materials that go through the warehouse.
• Assist in cleaning facility.
• Other duties assigned by leadership.

Warehouse AssociateQualifications and Requirements:
• Proven work experience as a packer/picker or similar role.
• Knowledge of industry safety regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with direction for supervisor/team lead.
• Forklift experience a plus.
• Lifting Assessment will be administered.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and twist during shift, up to 8 hours or more.
• Ability to read and follow directions.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
