Overview
As the Residential Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in the ongoing development and organization of the Residential Program. Additionally, you will provide support to the Director of Residential and the leadership team in all aspects of the daily management of the program.
Schedule: Dayshift; Monday-Friday
Testing for proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel will be required.
What do we do?
Crittenton offers the only licensed residential treatment program for pregnant and parenting girls in the state. While girls that are pregnant or parenting are the top priority for admissions, approximately 30% of girls come to the residential program solely for specialized behavioral health care in a gender-responsive, trauma-informed environment. We are dedicated to empowering young women by providing them with the tools and support they need to succeed. Qualifications
- Education: A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a minimum of two years of secretarial or administrative experience.
- Computer Proficiency: Must have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Preferred Experience: Two years of experience in Medical Records and/or data entry is preferred.
- Field Experience: Experience in the behavioral health field is preferred.
- Independence and Organization: Ability to work and think independently while prioritizing tasks, demonstrating excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to Learn: A readiness and ability to learn and exceed the limits of standard job responsibilities.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal abilities, flexibility, empathy, and listening skills are essential; this role involves supporting and responding to a large multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
- Supportive Attitude: Must be nonjudgmental, supportive, and respectful towards both staff and clients.

Responsibilities
Maintaining client and employee confidentiality requires professionalism in interactions and information storage. Key responsibilities include:
- Clerical duties: managing staffing schedules, tracking client services, and inventory systems.
- Administrative tasks: assembling manuals, transcribing meeting minutes, and distributing supplies/mail
- Completing tracking reports for services and staff productivity as directed.
- Assisting the Director with projects, mailings, letters, filing and organizational tasks.
- Participating in committees to support organizational goals.
- Acting as a resource for staff to address and solve issues.
- Providing backup support to clients as needed.
