Job Description

Your Career We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Workforce Planning Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate is an analyst with a strategic mindset who can transform complex data into actionable insights and compelling narratives. This role thrives in a fast-paced environment, works with minimal direction, and partners with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.

Your Impact

  • Data Analysis & Storytelling: Conduct deep-dive analyses on workforce data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Translate complex data into clear, concise narratives for executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Forecasting & Predictive Analytics: Collaborate with business partners, IT, finance, and talent acquisition to develop accurate headcount forecasts and predictive models. Use data to anticipate future talent needs and outcomes.
  • Strategic Problem-Solving: Define data and analyses needed to solve complex business problems. Create impactful analyses and models leveraging diverse data sources to inform strategic decisions with urgency.
  • Organizational Design & Optimization: Provide insights to support organizational design, spans of control, and location strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with departments including business leaders, IT, Finance, and Talent Acquisition. Build relationships to ensure data-driven insights align with goals.
  • Talent Intelligence: Research and evaluate talent intelligence tools and methodologies to improve long-term hiring decisions and workforce planning.
Key Responsibilities
  • WFP process: Facilitate the annual workforce planning process across a 16,000+ person organization; work with Analytics & Finance to build multi-year workforce projections aligned with strategic initiatives and goals.
  • Workforce Analytics, Reporting & Storytelling: Oversee workforce dashboards and reporting tools; lead data visualization and storytelling for executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Identify and Mitigate Workforce Risks: Proactively identify shortages, attrition, skill gaps, and propose strategies to mitigate risks and ensure resilience.
  • Contribute to Workforce & Talent Strategy: Provide internal and external insights on capacity, capability & configuration, including location strategy, organization design, talent pipeline & mobility, and development.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with multiple departments to ensure data-driven insights align with organizational goals and navigate complex structures to execute initiatives.
  • Continuous improvement and Innovation: Identify opportunities to improve how workforce planning is undertaken; define scalable solutions for efficiency and rapid response to evolving needs.
Qualifications

Your Experience

  • Proven experience as a data analyst, preferably in workforce planning, HR analytics, or business intelligence.
  • 6+ years of experience as a data analyst or similar role.
  • 6+ years of experience in Workforce Planning, Recruiting Analytics, or similar function.
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities; ability to pivot quickly and deliver high-quality work with minimal direction.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain complex data to diverse audiences.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with SQL, Python, R, or statistical software; experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
  • Proactive & Resourceful: Self-starter who can take initiative and create solutions in ambiguous environments.
  • Collaboration: Ability to build strong partnerships across multiple business functions.

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered depends on qualifications, experience, and location. For offers at the posted level, base salary ranges from $131,000 to $212,500 per year, with possible stock units and a bonus. A description of employee benefits is available.
