Overview

This role is at the frontline of our Marketing and Growth Organization supporting campaign analytics and reporting for Business products and portfolios. Expected to support complex, cross-functional analytics projects that may span across multiple business units, and analytics teams. Advises business partners and leadership with regards to patterns and relationships in data to recommend business direction or outcomes. Gathers, analyzes, and interprets a wide variety of data to make predictions on future outcomes or identify differences in relationships among sources of information. Develops reports, charts, tables, and other visual aids in support of findings. Leverage analytics, and long-term thinking to help unlock sales performance gains and adoption of best practices. Transform complex analyses into clear, easy-to-understand "storytelling" presentations with high impact visualizations that transform data into insights. Serve as the objective single source of truth for all segmentation and campaign analytics performance reporting. Strengthen the relationship between analytics and our marketing partners. Execute on an existing analytics roadmap, including enhancement of existing Power BI dashboards, designing and deploying new dashboards (including sourcing data, creating efficient SQL, designing and publishing), and providing insights to optimize email, direct mail, and SMS customer lifecycle campaigns. Partnership with marketing team will require translation of marketing performance questions into independent in-depth raw data (SQL) research to deliver dashboard enhancements, insightful analytics, and recommendations. Data and analytics must be of the highest integrity and quality, and will directly guide the marketing strategy and tactics, playing a crucial role in attaining sales targets and setting future goals.

Responsibilities

  • Support campaign analytics and reporting for Business products and portfolios.
  • Advise partners and leadership on patterns and relationships in data to recommend business direction or outcomes.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data to predict future outcomes or identify differences across information sources.
  • Develop reports, charts, tables, and visual aids to support findings.
  • Leverage analytics and long-term thinking to improve sales performance and adoption of best practices.
  • Transform analyses into clear, high-impact storytelling presentations and visualizations.
  • Serve as the single source of truth for segmentation and campaign analytics performance reporting.
  • Strengthen the relationship between analytics and marketing partners.
  • Execute on the analytics roadmap, enhance Power BI dashboards, design and deploy new dashboards, source data, write SQL, and publish dashboards; provide insights to optimize email, direct mail, and SMS lifecycle campaigns.
  • Translate marketing performance questions into independent in-depth raw data (SQL) research to deliver dashboard enhancements, analytics, and recommendations.
  • Maintain the highest integrity and quality of data and analytics to guide marketing strategy and tactics.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (finance, mathematics, economics, statistics, computer science, electrical engineering, physics, MKIS, etc.) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience across the full spectrum of business analytics including problem identification, data sourcing/wrangling, query development, data exploration, data visualization, and campaign performance optimization recommendations and hypothesis-testing.
  • Hands-on data analysis and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and expertise moving from business questions through raw data to answers, insights, and recommendations.
  • Experience translating marketer questions into technical analysis and developing clear data-founded storytelling for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Deep hands-on SQL knowledge, including query creation, performance optimization, and complex joins of large data sets.
  • Visually attractive and efficient executive dashboard design and optimization in Tableau and/or Power BI.
  • Experience working with large and complex datasets.
  • 2-6 years of relevant work experience or equivalent experience in management consulting.
  • Proactive and anticipatory problem solver.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills (written and verbal).
  • Experience with executive storytelling and presentations.
  • Be a self-starter and proactive in moving initiatives forward.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Snowflake and GitHub.
  • Prompt engineering in an analytics context.
  • Experience with hypothesis testing, experimentation, A/B testing, multivariate testing, and statistical significance.
  • Identity graph experience.
  • Experience within high tech, software, and/or wireless/telecom industries is highly desired.
