How You'll Make An Impact
Job Description
- Follow established guidelines to identify and resolve issues, referring complex problems to supervisors when needed.
- Prepare detailed accounting analyses and compile data for financial statements or public reports (e.g., balance sheets, cash flow statements).
- Reconcile and recommend adjustments for general ledger accounts, bank statements, and intercompany accounts.
- Perform independent analysis of performance results and handle moderately complex accounting tasks.
- Compile, consolidate, and analyze financial information to produce accurate financial statements and reports.
- Maintain a complete and accurate general ledger under general supervision, ensuring timely and accurate managerial reports and financial statements.
- Responsibilities may include:
- Posting accruals and prepayments.
- Reconciling intercompany accounts, profit & loss (P&L), and balance sheet accounts.
- Managing and controlling the fixed asset register.
- Reporting and controlling capital expenditures.
- Producing monthly consolidation reporting packs and statutory accounts.
- Computing corporate tax (in collaboration with the tax team).
- Analyzing cost center reports.
- Utilize technology effectively, especially applications relevant to the department or area.
- May oversee the daily work of entry-level employees but does not have formal management responsibilities.
About You
- Required: Bachelor's degree (Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration) and 2 years of related experience required.
- Preferred: CPA, MBA or other financial certification.
