Location: Hybrid - 1-2 day a week in Hamilton NJ

Position Summary:

The Human Resources Generalist will play a vital role in supporting the development and implementation of HR strategies that optimize workforce effectiveness, enhance employee engagement, and drive organizational performance. This role requires a well-rounded understanding of HR principles, the employee lifecycle, and the ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR compliance support ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential personnel records, medical information, employee relations documentation, and organizational change records.
  • Facilitate the new-hire process, including offer letters, pre-employment screenings, onboarding, and new-hire orientation.
  • Assist with the administration and maintenance of HR processes, systems, and documentation within the HRIS platform.
  • Serve as the primary administrator for the Rippling HRIS system, managing data integrity, workflows, and process optimization.
  • Draft and support the implementation of HR-related policies and procedures that improve employee experience and organizational compliance.
  • Manage the full life cycle hiring process. Partner with hiring managers to ensure a proactive, organized, and service-oriented recruitment process.
  • Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, complete, support, or lead HR-related tasks and projects across various functional areas of HR.

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Solid knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience with Rippling is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Human Resources or related field
  • 2–3 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Strong skills in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Working knowledge of HR policy and federal and state labor laws.
  • Familiarity with multiple HR functional areas, including recruitment, talent management, compliance, benefits and leave administration.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and foster respectful, professional, and empathetic relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Strong technical proficiency; experience with HRIS systems, ideally Rippling, preferred.

The pay range for this role is:

55,000 - 70,000 USD per year (CRG Plans)
