About the Role
We are partnering with a growing manufacturing and distribution organization that is seeking a D365 Business Analyst to join its ERP and technology team. This role will serve as the primary functional lead for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and/or Customer Engagement, working closely with Supply Chain and cross-functional business units to drive improvements in operational efficiency and technology utilization. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with experience supporting complex ERP systems, leading implementation projects, and optimizing business processes through data-driven insights.
This position offers an opportunity to lead system enhancement initiatives, own key ERP modules, and contribute to business-critical decisions in a dynamic environment.
Compensation
Salary: $110,000 - $125,000
Incentives: Annual bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits package

Primary Responsibilities
- Act as the functional lead for D365 ERP, providing user support, troubleshooting, training, and documentation across business units.
- Partner with Supply Chain and other teams to align ERP capabilities with operational and strategic goals.
- Analyze existing workflows and recommend technology-driven process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Design optimized warehouse layouts and implement inventory control strategies to minimize variances and ensure accurate reporting.
- Document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for new features and system enhancements.
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams during implementation and upgrade projects.
- Oversee and manage ERP help desk requests, escalating issues and ensuring timely resolutions to maintain system uptime.
- Coordinate and execute quality assurance testing and change management procedures for new releases or system patches.
- Develop custom reports and dashboards to provide business leaders with insights into KPIs across operations, financials, and inventory.
- Lead cross-functional project teams to scope, plan, and deliver ERP improvement initiatives on schedule and within scope.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field; equivalent experience considered
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Functional Lead Business Analyst or IT Project Manager
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and/or Customer Engagement
- Proven experience supporting large-scale ERP implementations and driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, job costing, and/or field service operations preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills and data analysis capabilities a plus
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset; capable of working with stakeholders at all levels
