Overview

Clean Rite Cleaning and Restoration is seeking to hire several full-time Disaster Restoration Technicians. This position offers a salary of $39,000 - $50,000 per year plus overtime pay, bonuses, commission, and a cell phone stipend.

What does a Disaster Restoration Technician do? Every day is a little (or a lot) different, but at the end of each day, we help people. When a water emergency happens, customers turn to us. You'll be meeting with the customer, assessing the damage, determining a scope of work, and making the cleanup happen. You'll start off as an apprentice, but as you gain experience and certifications, you'll progress to Lead and then Crew Chief. From there, you can grow to an Estimator and more.

Hours

40 hours / week, some overtime, on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Water damage restoration - water extraction from flood due to burst pipes, storm, sink overflow, etc
• Mold remediation
• Fire / soot / smoke cleanup
• Demolition of damaged areas
• Cleaning of carpets, area rugs, hardwood flooring, natural stone (porcelain, granite, etc.), upholstery, draperies, and more.

Requirements

• Positive attitude - your great attitude is your best asset!
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license
• Background check & drug screening
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule for night / weekend response to 24 / 7 emergency services
• Must be able to pass pulmonary (lung) evaluation and be able to wear a respirator for extended periods
• Must be physically capable to perform lifting up to 50 pounds
