We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
to join our educational team for the 20252026 school year. This full-time position supports licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering services to students with communication disorders. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a school setting and be comfortable working with a varied caseload across multiple age groups and communication needs. Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
Assist with the implementation of IEP goals and therapy plans.
Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
Support data collection and progress monitoring.
Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, staff, and families to support student communication needs.
Prepare therapy materials and adapt activities as needed.
Qualifications:
Associates degree or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
Valid state SLPA license/certification (as required by your state).
Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a school setting preferred.
Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Caseload:
Caseload will vary and may include students in general and special education, ranging from preschool to high school.
