The Point Arena School District is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic
full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
to serve our elementary students. This position involves working with an
elementary caseload , providing comprehensive speech and language therapy services to support student communication needs and academic success. Location:
Point Arena, California Elementary School Schedule:
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Typical school day hours, Monday through Friday
Caseload:
Elementary-aged students (grades TK-5)
Varied speech and language needs
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Conduct assessments and contribute to the development and implementation of IEPs
Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student progress
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress
Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows considered
Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
