A school-based social worker is sought to provide essential support services in a K-12 educational setting. This contract position, located in Aurora, IL, offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students social and emotional well-being throughout the school year.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments to identify student needs related to social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. Develop and implement intervention plans to support students academic success and personal growth. Collaborate with teachers, counselors, families, and external agencies to coordinate support services. Provide crisis intervention when necessary. Advocate for students access to community resources and services. Maintain detailed documentation of services and student progress in compliance with policies. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Licensed or certified School Social Worker credential preferred. Experience working with K-12 students in school settings. Strong knowledge of child development, mental health issues, and family dynamics. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism. Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive school environment. Location: Aurora, Illinois Contract Type: School Year (CSY) contract This position offers the opportunity to support student success by addressing social and emotional challenges within the school community. Interested candidates with a passion for student advocacy and holistic support are encouraged to apply. Compensation for this position ranges from $34.55 to $54.55.
