Business Development & Marketing Manager (Law Firm)
Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid) Industry: Legal Services Pay: $130000 $150000 / Year (commensurate with experience)+ bonus Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package (Dental, Health, Vision and 401K) About Our Client: Addison Group is partnering with a nationally recognized law firm that combines a strong litigation practice with a commitment to public interest work. Job Description: We are seeking a Business Development & Marketing Manager to support firmwide initiatives, enhance client engagement, and implement strategies that align with the firm's long-term goals. This role works closely with firm leadership and attorneys to drive growth, manage marketing projects, and oversee business development efforts. Key Responsibilities: Partner with firm leadership to design and implement marketing and business development strategies. Guide attorneys in executing individual business development plans and tracking progress. Create tailored proposals, pitch materials, and RFP responses. Oversee updates to firm marketing collateral, website content, and attorney bios. Conduct research on prospective clients, competitors, and industry trends. Manage CRM system data, activity tracking, and reporting. Lead submissions for industry rankings, awards, and legal directories. Coordinate firm events, including invitations, logistics, and follow-up. Support onboarding and integration of new lateral attorneys. Identify sponsorships, speaking engagements, and other opportunities to raise firm visibility. Oversee projects with clear deliverables, timelines, and reporting. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (J.D., MBA, or similar) a plus. 5+ years of law firm business development/marketing experience, ideally with litigation teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; CRM platform experience (InterAction preferred). Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Project management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities. Must be located in or willing to relocate to Washington, DC.
