Supply Chain and Procurement Manager
A fast-growing consumer technology organization in the healthcare space is seeking a Supply Chain and Procurement Manager to lead and optimize its procurement operations. This role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and plays a critical part in ensuring the efficient sourcing of goods, services, and materials across multiple business units.
The ideal candidate will bring strategic thinking, strong leadership, and deep expertise in procurement best practices, contract negotiation, and supplier management. This position is pivotal in maintaining inventory levels, improving supply chain visibility, and supporting cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the transition to and ongoing optimization of NetSuite for purchasing and inventory management.
Develop and execute strategic procurement plans aligned with organizational goals.
Manage the full procurement lifecycle-from supplier sourcing and contract negotiation to relationship management.
Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Finance, and Pharmacy teams to meet procurement needs efficiently and cost-effectively.
Conduct market analysis to identify supplier opportunities and drive cost-saving initiatives.
Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers while mitigating risks.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships based on transparency and trust.
Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Establish procurement policies and controls to ensure regulatory compliance.
Implement Supplier Relationship Management tools to enhance procurement visibility and efficiency.
Track and report KPIs and metrics related to procurement, transportation, and inventory performance.
Qualifications
Strong experience with NetSuite, especially the inventory module.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
5-10 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
Expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, inventory management, and market dynamics.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence change.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience with spend analysis and procurement process optimization.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for extended periods and work on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
