We are seeking a motivated
Entry-Level Controls Engineer
to join our team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate with a strong technical foundation and the drive to grow in a hands-on manufacturing environment. You’ll work closely with senior engineers and maintenance staff to troubleshoot, support, and improve automated equipment on the plant floor. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and diagnose control system issues on the production floor, including sensors, actuators, PLCs, HMIs, and drives. Monitor and maintain input/output (I/O) signals for proper equipment function. Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new control systems and modifications. Support preventative and corrective maintenance of automation systems. Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure equipment uptime and reliability. Document troubleshooting steps, system changes, and equipment performance. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in
Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering Technology
from an ABET-accredited program. Strong understanding of electrical fundamentals, including inputs/outputs, circuits, and control logic. Hands-on aptitude for troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, or industrial automation systems is a plus (training provided). Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
