Job Title: Transportation Analyst - Freight Payments (Long-Term Temp)
Location: Fountain Valley, CA (In Office)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
Pay: $30-35 per hour
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Analyst to manage freight payment processing for inbound and outbound shipments. This role involves auditing, reporting, and resolving payment variances, as well as supporting logistics operations and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Process weekly freight payments and check requests
Investigate discrepancies and variances in freight billing
Run SQL and Access queries for reporting and analysis
Maintain and update landed cost data
Provide ad hoc reports and support logistics team as needed
Backup truckload scheduling when required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
5+ years in logistics, freight auditing, or transportation analysis
Strong analytical skills and experience with SQL/Access
Familiarity with GL coding and freight cost reporting
