Plant Manager
for a food manufacturer in the
Valdosta, GA area . You will be responsible for the entire operation, driving a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities Lead Operations:
Manage all daily production, from planning to execution, ensuring efficiency and meeting output targets. Ensure Food Safety & Quality:
Uphold all FDA, USDA, HACCP, GMP, and SQF/BRC standards. Lead audits and maintain our commitment to product safety and quality. Manage People:
Oversee, mentor, and motivate a diverse team. Drive a positive culture and manage staffing, training, and performance. Improve Processes:
Use lean manufacturing principles to identify and eliminate waste. Lead initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Maintain Safety:
Champion a strong safety culture and ensure all operations comply with OSHA regulations.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field, preferred. 5+ years of food or beverage plant management experience. Expert knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP, GMPs, SQF/BRC). Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and leading teams. Strong financial management skills and experience with P&L.
