About the Real Estate Capital Internship Program At this office location, interns will work in the following business segment: Affordable Housing - Commercial Mortgage Group (CMG). The Affordable CMG team offers off-balance sheet capital solutions for the permanent financing of multifamily affordable housing properties. Because our Summer internship Program is a direct pipeline for our full-time Analyst positions, it offers exceptional potential for interns to return upon graduation to start a Real Estate career. Work assignments may include the following: Modeling, evaluating and underwriting new financing opportunities Partnering with production analysts to prepare narratives for debt investors Participating in calls with clients and investors Neighborhood, industry, and prospective tenant research Field research and preparation of marketing materials Completing a Capstone Project leveraging learnings from the Internship Performing other duties as necessary to support the goals and objectives of the Affordable Housing CMG team Core Competencies Strong Communication Skills Strong technical skills in MS Excel and MS Word Effective Time Management Intellectual Curiosity Critical Thinking Team Player Synthesize/Interpret Information Financial Acumen Qualifications Must have completed at least two years toward a four-year, undergraduate degree program with coursework in finance, real estate or a related field with an anticipated graduation in or before May of 2027 Outstanding academic achievement (minimum undergraduate 3.3 GPA) Relevant experience preferred Demonstrated teamwork and leadership through extracurricular activities Compensation and Benefits This position is eligible to earn an hourly rate of $27 per hour. Compensation also includes a $2,000 Summer Internship Sign-on Bonus.
