Key's Enterprise Internship is a 10.5-week program that provides meaningful work that matters, offers feedback and coaching, and creates engaging events and conversations that will spark excitement and interest in bringing one's full-time career to Key. Interns are involved in a host of line of business specific projects that directly impact and benefit Key's business and strategic pillars. The program includes networking with Key teammates across all levels of the organization, a series of Learning Labs where internal and external speakers provide insight on Key's competitive landscape, financial wellness, and professional development best practices, and an assigned mentor who shares knowledge, experience, and advice. KeyBank Real Estate Capital (KBREC) is one of the nation's leading providers of commercial, healthcare and multifamily real estate finance. KBREC focuses on building long-term relationships with its clients by providing creative financing solutions, acting with a sense of urgency and meeting client objectives. Our broad financing options, integrated platform, and deep industry experience give our clients what they need to meet their short and long-term goals. At this office location, interns will work in the following business segment: Commercial Mortgage Group (CMG). CMG delivers capital solutions to our core internal Borrower client segments (Income Property, Institutional Capital Group, and Healthcare) and investment opportunities to our Investor base. Because our Summer internship Program is a direct pipeline for our full-time Analyst positions, it offers exceptional potential for interns to return upon graduation to start a Real Estate career. Work assignments may include the following: Researching economic conditions and market trends Developing strategic contact databases Neighborhood, industry, and prospective tenant research Field research and preparation of marketing materials Completing a Capstone Project leveraging learnings from the Internship Performing other duties as necessary to support the goals and objectives of the Real Estate Capital team Core competencies include: Strong Communication Skills Effective Time Management Intellectual Curiosity Critical Thinking Team Player Synthesize/Interpret Information Financial Acumen Qualifications include: Must have completed at least two years toward a four-year, undergraduate degree program with coursework in finance, real estate or a related field with an anticipated graduation in or before May of 2027 Outstanding academic achievement (minimum undergraduate 3.3 GPA) Relevant experience preferred Demonstrated teamwork and leadership through extracurricular activities This position is eligible to earn an hourly rate of $27 per hour. Compensation also includes a $2,000 Summer Internship Sign-on Bonus.
