Responsibilities Local Driving No Touch Freight Fill out trailer log Spot carrier trailers and Berry trailers as requested Spot LTL trailers as requested Fuel trucks as needed Keep truck in safe working order Work with Receiving when requested Fill out D.O.T. inspection sheet Take and score highly on all yearly HR required MyDevelopment courses, and any other courses that are deemed necessary Lot check information as needed Understands and will adhere to all ISO & SQF guidelines and policies Authorities Take loaded trailers to outside warehouse Take empty trailers from outside warehouses to main plant Take trailers from docks as requested Must record movements using the ToughBook and the Shuttle Tote Board Qualifications High school diploma or GED Class A CDL required Requires sitting, standing and climbing Must be able to drive truck in safe and professional manner Ability to work in extremes of heat/cold Verbal communications adequate to use a radio and or paging system to contact other co-workers in other areas of the complex Equal Opportunity Employer/Minorities/Females/Disabled/Veterans/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity Amcor is an Equal Opportunity Employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
