Dynamic Arkansas law firm looking to immediately hire an experienced bankruptcy attorney to join our team. We have offices in Little Rock and Fayetteville and a large bankruptcy practice in both the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas. The ideal candidate can handle Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies from start to finish. We are seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Attorney to manage a diverse caseload of both consumer and business bankruptcy cases, including Chapter 7, Chapter 13, and Chapter 11 filings. The ideal candidate is a compassionate, detail-oriented professional who can guide clients through the entire bankruptcy process, from initial consultation to case discharge.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years experience practicing in the United States Bankruptcy Courts.

Responsibilities include:

* Advise and counsel clients on the best course of action regarding bankruptcy, debt reorganization, or liquidation. * Conduct comprehensive financial assessments to determine client eligibility and the most appropriate bankruptcy chapter. * Prepare, review, and file bankruptcy petitions, schedules, and other court documents with precision. * Represent clients in court hearings, including 341 meetings of creditors, confirmation hearings, and other proceedings. * Negotiate with creditors and trustees to reach favorable settlement agreements for clients. * Manage a high-volume caseload and ensure all court deadlines are met. * Perform legal research on complex bankruptcy matters and stay current on changes in federal and local bankruptcy laws. * Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, providing regular updates and guidance. * Oversee legal support staff, including paralegals and legal assistants.

*Qualifications*

* Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. * Active and in good standing with the bar association in [State]. * Demonstrable experience handling cases under Chapter 7 and Chapter 13; experience with Chapter 11 is a plus. * Proven track record of success representing debtors, with experience on the creditor side also valued. * Proficiency with bankruptcy software and electronic court filing systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
