Senior Data Analyst
Remitly, Inc. seeks a Senior Data Analyst to analyze complex and large datasets to provide analytical support and generate customer and financial insights across multiple business areas. Translate business requirements into instrumentation requirements, working alongside Product, Data Engineering, and other stakeholders to deliver projects. Work with Data Engineering to design and implement SQL pipelines end-to-end that efficiently create the output tables needed for analysis. Create and optimize BI platforms, dashboards, and ad-hoc analysis, leading efforts to close gaps in data coverage and create new ways to visualize and understand datasets. Provide leadership within the analytics team. Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics or a related field and 5 years of progressively responsible experience performing data analysis. Experience must also include at least 1 year with each of the following: conducting strategic analysis, interpretation, and reporting of complex datasets; leading teams of cross-functional members to implement end-to-end analytics solutions; creating and optimizing BI platforms, dashboards, and ad-hoc analysis; data visualization using Tableau and Python; statistical experimentation methods using A/B testing, experimental design, power analysis, and non-parametric statistics; defining and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), building self-service reporting frameworks, and creating dashboards for delivering insights into business and product health; building scalable data pipelines, creating requirements for data acquisition and transformation, and developing robust data models to support analytics needs; leveraging advanced statistical techniques, predictive analytics, and machine learning methods to address complex business problems and unlock new opportunities.
