JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: Active Virginia state medical license (required), DEA pending or active
• Board: Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (ABIM, ABFM, ABEM, AOBEM accepted; ABPS not accepted)
• DEA: Active DEA required
• Certifications: ATLS, ACLS, PALS
• Experience: Residency trained from accredited university
• Other Qualifications: EPIC EMR proficiency

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide inpatient hospitalist coverage on a 7a 7p schedule
• Perform admissions, rounding, and patient management
• Collaborate with nursing and specialty backup teams
• Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and standards
