JOB OVERVIEW Job Title: Physician Emergency Medicine Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Cades, SC Service Setting: Inpatient Emergency Services Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: 06/16/2025 Open Clinical Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7a7p or 7p7a) PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults and Pediatrics (typical ED case mix) Patient Volume/Census: 67 patients per day at Black River; Florence 110 ppd; Marion 60 ppd Admissions: Yes Case Mix: General Emergency Medicine FACILITY INFORMATION Facility: Black River 20 beds; Florence 36 beds (Level 3 Trauma); Marion 16 beds Trauma Level: Black River & Marion No trauma level; Florence Level 3 Trauma EMR System: Epic (EPIC training and hospital modules required) Physician Coverage: - Black River: 24-hour physician coverage (7a7p and 7p7a) - Marion: 24-hour physician coverage (7a7p and 7p7a) - Florence: Four weekday physician shifts (6a6p, 6p6a, 10a8p, 1p11p); SS3 coverage 6a6p, 11a?, 6p?
