Warehouse Worker

This position is a long-term temporary role with the potential to become permanent. The role is based in the warehouse section of the facility. Responsibilities: Receiving: Unload and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, damage, and compliance with purchase orders. Verify and record the quantity and quality of received goods in the inventory management system. Shipping: Prepare and pack outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling, documentation, and handling. Coordinate with carriers and logistics partners to schedule pick-ups and deliveries. Maintain accurate records of all outgoing shipments, including tracking information and delivery confirmation. Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of stock levels. Assist in managing inventory locations, organizing stock, and maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse environment. Report inventory discrepancies or issues to the supervisor and assist in implementing corrective actions. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of shipping and receiving transactions, including bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices. Generate and submit reports on shipping and receiving activities, inventory levels, and any issues encountered. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Work Environment: First shift: 10 AM - 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The work is conducted in a warehouse setting with a computer/shipping station and racking. The facility has bay doors for inbound and outbound operations. While not temperature-controlled, the environment is fairly clean. The dress code includes steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, pants, and a t-shirt. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $18.51 - $24.68/hr.
