Adams & Martin Group is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Docketing Clerk in St. Louis, MO. This role is deemed HYBRID, but is primarily remote aside from occasional on-site meetings and trainings . The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately managing and maintaining the firm's legal docketing system, ensuring all court deadlines, filings, and appointments are timely and properly recorded. This role is crucial for supporting attorneys and legal staff in meeting critical deadlines and ensuring compliance with court rules and procedures.

Reports To: Office Manager
Location: St. Louis, MO - Candidates MUST be local to St. Louis, MO and surrounding areas
Schedule: Monday - Friday. Occasional On-Site Training; Occasional On-Site Meeting. PRIMARILY REMOTE
Compensation: up to $45,000 annual
Benefits: Health/Dental/Vision/401(k)/PTO/Holidays etc.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter and update court dates, filing deadlines, hearing schedules, and other legal events in the docketing system. Monitor and track court rules and jurisdictional requirements to ensure accuracy in docket entries. Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly docket reports to attorneys and relevant staff. Review incoming mail, court documents, and legal correspondence to identify docketable events. Communicate with attorneys and legal assistants to confirm case-specific information and deadlines. Assist in maintaining electronic and physical filing systems for all docketed items. Perform regular audits of docketing entries to ensure compliance and accuracy. Stay informed about changes in court rules and procedures that may impact docketing practices. Coordinate with other departments (litigation support, paralegals, etc.) to ensure accurate case tracking. Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a law firm or legal environment, preferably with docketing responsibilities . Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel). Experience with legal docketing software (e.g., CompuLaw, CourtAlert, CPI, or similar). Knowledge of litigation processes and court rules across multiple jurisdictions is a plus. bility to handle confidential information with discretion.
