We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Docketing Specialist with advanced Compulaw expertise. This position is essential for accurately calendaring and tracking all court-related deadlines, ensuring timely compliance by our attorneys and legal staff.

Position Overview: The Docketing Specialist is responsible for managing critical litigation deadlines, court appearances, and other legal proceedings using Compulaw docketing software. This individual will work closely with attorneys and legal staff to ensure compliance with court rules and procedures across state, federal, and appellate courts. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, and brings a solid background in litigation support.

Key Responsibilities: Manage and update all litigation deadlines, court appearances, and legal proceedings using Compulaw docketing software. Review legal filings and correspondence to extract and calendar critical dates in Compulaw. Monitor and stay informed of changes to local, state, federal, and appellate court rules to ensure accurate and compliant docketing. Generate timely reminders and notifications for upcoming deadlines and court events. Provide periodic and on-demand dockets, status and client/matter reports. Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to maintain consistency and accuracy in calendaring. Identify and correct discrepancies or errors in docket entries. Stay current on Compulaw updates and implement best practices for efficient docket management. Maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive case-related information.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of legal docketing/calendar experience required. Advanced proficiency in Compulaw is required. Comprehensive knowledge of litigation processes and court rules (state, federal, and appellate). Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred. Experience with legal case management systems (e.g., iManage) is a plus.
